    Plan Exit Flagging

    Identify which client plans are about to be discounted directly in the platform because of plan cancellation or the carrier exiting the location.

    Please Note: Plan exit data via the Spark platform is currently limited to Humana, United Healthcare, and Cigna. As we get more carrier plan exit data, we will update this guide.

    With the automated Plan Exit flag, you’ll be able to keep up to date for which clients need support getting set up on a new plan.

    You can stay up to date on all your contacts that have made recent changes to their Medicare via the AEP survey, Needs Assessment, or that have a Plan Exit with the Contacts to Review quick filter.

    Viewing Plan Exits in Platform

    Activity Tab

    You can go to your Activity tab to generate a list of Plan Exits that have been automated in the platform. You’ll change Created by to Spark and Activity type to Notes to view various exits.

    Contacts Tab

    You can get a better idea of any changes that have been made to your contacts’ profile via the Last Action column in the Contacts tab. If you want a filtered look, you can use the Contacts to Review quick filter. From there, you’ll see a list of clients that need to be reviewed and any potential plan exits as well.

    Supporting a Client that has a Plan Exit

    Once you’ve been notified that your client has a plan exit, you can work with them via the information you received from their AEP survey, or you can send them a Needs Assessment and SOA to gather additional details about their latest Medicare needs to help get them signed up for a new plan.     We recommend you ensure your notification preferences are correct in the platform. You can update them here and ensure you are notified about Notes created by Spark via email and SMS / text message. You will only receive updates on plan exits for contacts that you already have added to your Spark platform. If you need assistance with getting a list of contacts going through a plan exit, please reach out to the team at support@sparkadvisors.com.
