Overview
Spark is introducing a new Kanban-style view to help you more easily track the progress of your carrier contracts. This new layout replaces the traditional Carrier Contracts grid and provides a clear, visual way to see where each contract stands, especially what needs your attention.
How It Works
To see the new contracts view, navigate to Back office and click on View carrier contracts under Carrier contracts.
Contracts are now organized into intuitive columns based on their status:
Active Contracts
- Needs Action: contracts requiring agent input.
- Pending: Carrier, Spark, or upline in process (no action needed).
- Ready to Sell: Contracts that are fully completed
Inactive Contracts
Appear on a separate tab.
- Expired
- No Longer Contracted
- No Longer Interested
Key Features
The updated layout is built to help you understand what actions are needed and where each contract stands. Here’s what to expect:
Inline Action Prompts
Each contract includes clear, actionable instructions—like Complete Certifications—so you always know your next step.
Status Timers (Time in Status)
For contracts in the Needs Action column, color indicators highlight how long a contract has been awaiting action:
- Orange = waiting 7+ days
- Red = waiting 14+ days
Prioritized Sorting
Contracts in the Needs Action column are sorted by how long they’ve been pending, with the oldest shown first.
Contract Tags
View important details, such as:
- Contract Type: New or Transfer
- Level: Individual or Corporate
- Transfer Date
- Writing Number
Reminders
If a contract has stayed in Needs Action for more than 14 days, you’ll receive a reminder via email or SMS.
