Timeline for updates
New contracting statuses appear in Spark accounts on Monday. Typically, there is a 7-day delay on carrier reporting. Contact the carrier directly to confirm your ready-to-sell status. Once the contracting link is completed, most carriers (besides medicare supplements) also require their product certifications to be completed to become ready to sell. Generally, it may take 1-2 weeks for certifications to be verified by the carrier.
Status Breakdown

Pending (additional note): The contracting team will notify you if you need to complete a certification, email us your release, or if we are waiting on something from the carrier.
Other: The contracting team will be reaching out to you due to a unique situation.
View our Understand your contract status guide to learn more about additional contract statuses. If you need further support with your contract statuses, you can fill out our Ready to Sell Request ticket.
“No longer interested” feature
Sometimes you may change your mind about a contract you selected! If you’re in the process of completing a contract for a carrier and then decide to not move forward, you can mark No longer interested for that particular carrier. Spark will no longer follow up with you and send reminders after No longer interested has been selected.
Once you have the Show inactive contracts box checked, you’ll be able to view additional contracts that you are currently no longer in the process of being Ready to Sell with.
If you want to request a contract you no longer have, click on the request a contract button to re-contract with any carriers to begin the process.
