Agent Production
“Production” reporting refers to reporting related to enrollments generated.
(Note: This data is updated once a week, depending on the carrier. We recommend confirming within the carrier portal concerning timely things like pending/denied policies)
You can view the Production Page directly in the platform here.
Production Data
The types of data you are able to view in the report are the following:
- Agent/NPN
- Carrier/plan/type
- Client/ID/DOB
- County/ST
- Status/updated
- Submitted
- Effective
- Termed
- Termed Reason
Aggregated Reports
We aggregate reports from the following carriers to show production by agent by product by month:
- Aetna, Alignment, Anthem, Banner, BND, Central Health Plan, Cigna, Devoted, Freedom, HealthSun, Humana, Molina, Memorial Hermann, SCAN, UHC, WellCare, and Zing.
- Note: We are now able to show when UHC applications accrete and then disenroll. You should expect to see changes to your UHC production data that should improve their accuracy.
- All other carriers are excluded for one of two reasons:
- We don’t receive production reports on a regular basis or
- Our total enrollment volume is very low (<50 per year across all agents).
- Reports from the carrier may be lagging a few days so the data that you see can be up to ~14 days delayed.
- We merge the reports into a single table, and then layer in Spark’s own hierarchy information so that you can view your entire downline performance.
- Provides policy level insight into individual carriers or downlines
Last Updated Timestamp
The timing of production data updates can vary by carrier and policy. There are several reasons why updates for a specific policy may be delayed or stop altogether:
- Agent churns
- Carrier hasn’t updated data
- Disenrolled member stops being tracked
- Policy had a compliance issue
- Hierarchy changes
Our production data stores an “updated” timestamp on each production row. You can use this timestamp to identify the last time we updated the status for that specific row of data.
Application Statuses, Term Dates, and Reasons
Production reporting now includes application term dates, along with submitted and effective dates. You can also view when an application or enrollment was terminated.
Here’s what each status indicates:
Status | Description |
Approved | Application confirmed but not effective |
Active | Application is now effective |
Attrited | Application ended before becoming effective |
Deceased | Person has died |
Policy Disenrollment | This policy has ended |
Unknown | We don’t know the state of this enrollment |
You can also view the reason why an application or enrollment terminated:
Status | Termination Reason | Description | Troubleshooting |
Attrited | Denied | Carrier denied due to error in application | Identify error and re-enroll |
Attrited | Withdrawn | Member withdrew the application before it was accepted by CMS
Attrited | Canceled | Member cancelled the application after it was accepted by CMS but before the effective date
Policy Disenrollment | Plan Change | Member changed to a new plan | Was this intentional? If not, reach out to member. |
Policy Disenrollment | Plan Exit | Policy no longer exists in area member is located | Reach out to member and evaluate new plan options |
Attrited / Policy Disenrollment | Other | Not a cleanly mapped reason to our dataset |
Dashboard
Updates made to your production data tab beginning July 2025 may also affect the numbers you see in your Spark Dashboards. For example, when counting UHC enrollments, we are now factoring in disenrollments.
