Step by Step Facebook Ad:
- Go to business manager
- Make sure your business page is set up - business name and email, click “next”
- Home page of business manager > go to add ad account > create ad account, add your website, email etc.
- Go to business manager dashboard > business settings > make sure your name is under ad account and admin access > click “add” to add your Facebook business page
- Create Ad account: Click add and then add “ad account”
- Once you have your ad account selected go to the green button “create” > create new ad campaign > select campaign objective > select leads > next
- Name your ad campaign > next
- Select ad set name > decide on your conversion (most popular is lead form but can also do calls or website based on your audience size and if facebook will estimate highest amount of conversions daily) > maximize leads > select your budget > daily or lifetime (at least spend $250- 500 to start) > select your ad end date (for at least 2 weeks best is 3-4 weeks) > select audience (62+ age, location, states you sell in, all genders, select the languages (ex: are you targeting just spanish speaking medicare beneficiaries? be sure to only include spanish speaking)
- Check what the estimated leads are and if lead forms is the best option for your market, may need to change to call or website OR change the amount of spend / ad duration. Select the one with the highest reach and conversion rate.
- Ad creative > choose your image or ad creative you have created (use Spark Marketing Center for social posts, download and upload to facebook) > type in your description > headline > CTA
- If you are linking to a website or lead form be sure you have the CMS disclaimer, if it is a phone call be sure to also be in line with CMS guidelines.
- Click publish and your ad will go into review
- Check daily on your ad once it has been approved. After a week if you have not see results edit different factors of your ad: audience, budget, ad creative, conversion type, etc.
